Indian Youth in the grip of Virtual World
Today's Indian culture has changed to such an extent that our lifestyle is constantly revolving around the virtual world of social media.
Indian youth are more bothered about likes on Facebook, Instagram pics, virtual
friends other than real-world friends nor family. Today's talk of the town is newly launched
gadgets, its features, online shopping.
Indian education system to have changed drastically, highly paid
donations, increased fees, easily accessible amenities with big fat payments for
these facilities. To complete schooling pay in lakhs and graduation, post-graduation in crores. Does these changes are leading to what development?, Rich is growing richer, poor poorer and rest
a large number of the middle class are struggling to afford meeting both the
ends. Well, are we developing? , at what cost...
Indian nuclear families with modern values have replaced by big joint families with orthodox culture. A child's upbringing with values called “sanskara”
has also changed. Modern values have an approach of having no valued individual
principles to follow, to survive in this competitive world we need to be self-centered,
unethical, with attitude to carry
confidently in this unrealistic world. With these changing trends and fad youths
in our society are really grooming with
human values? With an increased rate of crime and injustice, We are still
developing?, at what cost....
We are so very attracted to western culture and lifestyle that we
are very early to adopt it, rather we easily and conveniently accept it. But we
forget that western countries are so very interested in learning Indian culture
and rituals. We should welcome the new ideology and technology withholding on our roots. Today's youths are very much attached towards western
lifestyle unlearning Indian culture and sansakar. If this is what called
development....than at what cost....
I hope we will learn and adopt new technology and culture along with our
principles and ethics unchanged. This ray of hope will lead to develop and
groom Indian culture and society. Isn't
so......
Very nice article pallavi madam
